How do I embed a Microsoft Word Document to the front panel?

I would like to embed a Microsoft Word document that is saved on my computer to an ActiveX container on the front panel. I can open the document in Word and have it displayed in the application, but can't get the report to appear in my ActiveX container. I am using Labview7.1. Also is there a way to scroll through the pages of the document in the ActiveX container.

I have read that document. Is there anyway to load the word document into its own container without having to load IE into the container and then using IE to load the document?

Hello,

I think your question boils down to whether or not there is a "Microsoft Word" ActiveX Control (an ocx control), since those are what can be embedded into ActiveX containters in LabVIEW.  I don't find such an object on my machine, although Word can act as an ActiveX server, which allows you to access it programmatically.  The following document draws the distinction between ActiveX Automation Servers and ActiveX Controls.

I hope this helps!
