How do I get 6.1 and 8.2 to operate on the same computer

I am looking to have 6.1 and 8.2 loaded onto the same computer. Currently I have 6.1 loaded onto my computer. When I loaded 8.2 on the computer, there were some things missing from the 6.1 tools pallette. It appears that the DAQ drivers got over written with the new version, and is not compatible with 6.1. Is there a way to have 6.1 and 8.2 on the same computer and fully functional?

Multiple versions of LabVIEW on the same computer is no problem. Multiple versions of a driver on the same system will not work. There is no version of traditional or DAQmx that will install support for both LabVIEW versions. This has been a rather hot debate lately, and the best suggstion for maintaining two fully functional versions of LabVIEW with driver support is to either dual boot or use a second computer.
