How do I get rid of ALL diagram tip strips?

I program in LabVIEW 7.0 eight to twelve hours per day. After a while, the tip strips over case statements, while loops, loop counters, etc. become extremely annoying. How do I get rid of them? WB

Disable them by going to /tools/options/block diagram, and uncheck "Show
tip-strips over terminals".

Not so. Open a LabVIEW 7.0 VI and place a case structure on the diagram. Move the finger to the case selector at top and a yellow "Selector Label" flashes.

Disabling the option just removes the crucial VI connector terminal tip strips. WB

At least most of them are gone...

I'm afraid that when these "helpful" strings were added, the author
didn't think of guys like you who see case statements in their sleep.
Please write a suggestion asking for a distinction between the helpful
strings on the built-in objects, and the ones on the VI and primitive
terminals.
