How do I manually scale a bitmap on the front panel while maintaining aspect ratio?

I've tried all the typical modifier keys but no success.  Anyone know how to do this?

Holding down the shift key while dragging will do what you want to do (verified in LabVIEW 8.2.1 and 2010).  A minor caveat, you need to drag diagonally from a corner while holding the shift key.  If you drag horizontally or vertically, you get a pure horizontal or vertical stretch.

That doesn't work for me.  I'm using LV2009 SP1.

Works for me. When you click on the corner, the pointer turns into a diagonal arrow. Do you see that? As you drag the arrow, do you see a black diagonal line from the corner of the picture to the drag location? Are you dragging to make it smaller or larger? Don't think it works for smaller unless you are using png or jpg which you should instead of bmp anyway).

I see it now.  I didn't get the black diagonal line until I had moved the mouse quite a ways (50%) and it reverts to vertical-only scaling if you don't hold the mouse away from the border of the scaled size.  Thanks for the help. 🙂
