How do i go about using labview to simulate a car acclerating and braking?

Hi, sorry about dat. Well what i actually want to do is this. I want to generate a random number which i will use an exponential function to simulate the car going from 0km/hr to say, 200km/hr. This will be the user's input which will slowly decrease back down to zero linearly once the user applies a second input, the brakes. The only problem is, I am not sure how to go about using a random number to increase linearly or exponentially over time as I've tried multiplying it, squaring it, etc. I am simultaneously trying to create another sub-vi which will light up an indicator when the user is not inputting any 'throttle'. Can you offer any ideas? Thanks.

Please post some code. My guess is that you have done some mistakes common to beginners. We may give some advises. But without your code we can not help you at all.

Hi, here's wat I've done so far, but i want to be able to allow a user to control the acceleration, rather than have it go from 0 to 200 and stop der.
