Usually you would set the trigger typr on the daq taksk and then issue a trigger from another source (digital output) the tests will start at the same time, this is hardware triggering. I would check if the devices you have support a start trigger. also you can set up your channels to share an external clock to improve synch. With USB devices determinism is not great so a hardware triggered start should give you better results.
