How do you delete an indicator or control??

How do you delete an indicator or control once you create one when you are writing code. I can delete the wires and vi's but I can't find a way to get rid of the control or indicator. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tyler

If working with LV 7 and later, you can delete by clicking on the icon in the block diagram and pressing the delete key. If working with versions before 7, you have to go to the front panel and delete it there, click to select, press delete key.

"Delete front panel terminals from diagram" was/is an option available in LV6.x (Tools>Options>Block Diagram). I think the default setting for it was unchecked.
Enabling the option is a matter of personal choice. I found it clashed with old habits when editting the block diagram. Right clicking any terminal on the diagram, selecting "Find Control/Indicator, hitting delete works well as an alternative.
