Solved!

hi

I need to show  the power flow . From previous post, I learned that arrow-like slider can work. But I am a novice, I don't know how to make it. Can anyone tell me the information of making a special control? Thanks a million.

regards

Jessie

You open the control editor and replace the normal image that is associated with the slider with one that is an arrow. Do a search on the forum for "customizing controls" and see what comes up. There have been some very good descriptions of the process in the past.

Hi Jessie,

Rright click on the control you want to customize and select "Advanced -> then select Customize, this brings up one more  frontpanel --then select  import picutres to clipboard from Edit Menu into the control (Edit -> Import Picture to clipboard) ---then paste it into the control by pressing Ctrl+V . when finished, save the control so it can be used later.

Check out this link for detailed help.

VENKATESH…

Hi,

Thanks for your valuable suggestion. I am now studying the webpage of creating custom controls, indicators, and type definitions. I have a question, can't I delete the parts of the controls?

If you want to edit individual parts of the controls select the Change to Customize Mode button.  This button has a picture of a wrench on it and is on the left side of the menu bar.

No but you can squish them down, hide behind other stuff or can be painted transparent.
