How to calibrate the PCI-6110 using NI-DAQmx

Solved!

Hi,

I am a new user of the PCI-6110 board trying to run the calibration procedure using LabVIEW. I'm looking at the "Calibration Procedure" document on the Manuals page for the board,

http://sine.ni.com/nips/nisearchservlet?nistype=psrelcon&nid=11888&lang=US&q=FQL:%28locale%3Aen%29+AND+%28phwebnt%3A1081+OR+phwebnt%3A7075%29+AND+%28nicontenttype%3Aproductmanual%29+AND+%28docstatus%3Acurrent%29%20RANK%20nilangs:en&title=NI+PCI-6110+Manuals

One of the first steps in the document is to call the AI_Configure command to set the input mode, range, etc. I am using LabVIEW 8.5 with the NI-DAQmx software, and I can't find the command (which in LabVIEW seems to be "AI Config.vi") anywhere. The calibration document was written in 2003, and I gather from Google searches (please correct me if wrong) that this command is actually part of Traditional NI-DAQ, which has been superseded by the NI-DAQmx driver software.

My question is this: what is the equivalent command to AI_Configure in the newer software? Is there perhaps a later document describing how to calibrate using NI-DAQmx?

Many thanks for any help,

Tom McLaughlin

Hi Tom,

The B/E/M/S Series Calibration Procedure, which is also linked from that page, describes how to calibrate the PCI-6110 with NI-DAQmx.
