How to configure MPI USB cable in NI OPC?

HI All,

I have to communicate with Siemens PLC S7-400 with NI opc server to read all register values. To communicate with plc I use USB MPI

adapter cable. But in NI opc server there are only three options Serial, modem and Ethernet configuration. How can I configure USB MPI adapter cable in NI opc server, OR  Can I use USB to serial converter???

Please help me urgent.

I am having the same problem with the USB MPI siemens cable and I cant not find any way to introduce the USB port in the OPC server definition.

NI OPC do not have driver for MPI USB. So, we need another OPC for MPI USB, you can try this OPC:
