How to convert vi´s writen in version 5.1 to version 6.1, is there a converter that could be downloaded?

I have the problem that we got a upgrade of Labview 5.1 to 6.1. Now the vi´s writen in the old version could not be loaded into the new one. Is there anywhere a converter that coul upgrade the old vi´s so that they could be run in Labview 6.1.

LabVIEW 6.1 will convert 5.1 VIs with no problem usually. What kind of message do you get when you try to open the old VIs? Cannot it not find some subVIs, are some of the VIs saved without a diagram, or are there CINs/DLLs missing? It would also help if you attached a VI (along with all subVIs) that you can't convert.

When you open a VI created in version 4.0 or later, Labview 6.1 automatically converts and compiles it for version 6.1.

You will need to save the VI to keep the changes.

Alternativly use Tools>Advanced>Mass Compile.

The upgrade notes in the labview bookshelf will tell you more.
