Here are a few tips from the person who wrote the GSW:

  1. An Object-Oriented Getting Started Window
  2. Code Reuse through Classes
  3. Designing VIs Before You Write Them
  4. Customizing the Getting Started Window

I believe you should also find the code if you search the LAVA forums.

Hi Mike,

Even i'm about to post a simila query.....

I'm not sure whether i'm posting at the right place.

I've a developed a VI for my validation team, which they will use for one of their projects as VOice recognition Testing tool.

But currently the VI's i developed doesnt have a proper show up.

I mean the marketing is not proper (cosmetics need to be applied for demos and all)

Could you please let me know is there any way in Lab view which would help me to showcast my project in an efficient way.

Because whenever i give a Demo to other teams they seems disappointed about the look and feel of my project.

But internally the way it works is good.

Your advice would be a gr8 help.

Cheers,

Suneel.V

Hi Pnt,

I couldnt find this "navigation.lvproj"
Could you please explain me whats there in that.
Because the moment i open my VI it shows only a table control window.
So i wanna do something which give life to my project.
A perfect marketing appearance should be there...

Waiting for your response.

Cheers,
Suneel

It is in the examples of Labview 8.5.
If you have a previous version, it may not be there....

You should find it here (adapt the path to your LabVIEW version and installation directory) :

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\examples\lvoop\navigation\Navigation.lvproj
