I am developing a camera work with my frame grabber NI PCIe-1430 frame grabber. By referring to the specification of camera link in http://www.vision1.com/pdf/CameraLink5.pdf, I apply a DS90CR285 chip convert 28-bit TTL signals into LVDS signals. I am wondering whether I can customize the 28-bits assignment for NI frame grabber or camera file. If yes, how to modify the bit assignment?
If no, would you please explain the enclosed pinout map I find in NI Camera File Generator? I am very confused about that map. First, the total number of pins is 100, how can it be related with the 28-bits signal? Second, the assignment of the pins are totally different from the specification. For example, the Frame Enable(FVAL), Line Enable(LVAL) and Pixel Clock(DVAL) occupies 40~44 and 49~50 pins in the pinout map, while in the camera link specification, they are Tx/Rx25, Tx/Rx24 and Tx/Rx26.
Thank you in advance!

Hi Ying,
That 100 pin pinout looks like it is for one of the parallel/digital boards--where in the camera file generator did you find this? The cameralink boards are 1428 and 1430e, I'd recommend looking at the pinouts for those. Also, reference page 21 of the cameralink manual.
Please post back with more questions.
Cheers,
