Reading data from an ASCII file, closing it after using it, I would like to dele it not exiting from my LabView application. But it does not work, until I am closing my aplication. Does anybody know, how to delete such files?

Is the ErrorCluster connected to Delete? If it is, there may be an error before the Delete, so that it bypasses the block.

I post a File I have created with my tests.
I hope they work for you.

I have had similiar problems... Don't wire the error-in cluster if you want an unconditional delete attempt, regardless of previous file operations.

Error-in cluster is not connected, only ref. but I am noi aible to delete files including text. I do not have problems to delete ASCII spreadshit files. Even more, until closing my application, I can not delete those files with another application.

Thanks for helping me.

Make sure that any reference to the file are closed before trying to delete it. You can't delete a file that is opened as it is prevented by the OS. The fact that you can't delete the file with other application or Explorer means that the file is still opened by an application, likely yours.
