How to delete or hide element of a control?

I need to create my own control which presents simple rotary line, with the center of rotation in the middle of the line. The simplest way that I found is to customise the gauge control. The question is how to detete (if it possible) or hide unused elements of the control?

You have to press on the first button, so the tool, on the toolbar! Please see attached picture.

Thank you for reply. I knew how to change to customize mode. The question was how to hide unnecessary elements of a control. In the attached file is the pic of my control.  All I need to see is the solid line (by which I replace the needle). But I can't even replace the dial without the line.

Hello!

After selecting the different parts, the only way to hide them is to make them transparent with the paint tool, see following picture!

So they are still existing but not visible.

Thank you, it's clever way to do! I was trying to hide elements by coveryng them with decoration boxes
