How to do a digital waveform subtraction

i am trying to subtract two digital waveform using subtract operation, but it seems that the subtraction opertation doesn't like digital waveform.
error message:"You have connected two terminals with different types. the type of the source is digital waveform, the type of the sink is double"
anybody can help? please.

Hello,

First you have to connect "get digital data components.vi" and select "data". Then you can do math operations on it.

You didn't mention digital waveform? Like binary?

Do one thing.... Attach a small vi with the operation that you want. And i'll try to fix the error.

Hello,

See the attached modified example. Now you can access data in a 2D array .

Thank you very much. Now i am going to change that 2-d array back to a waveform. i will try to figure it out by myself, if i encounter any question,  i will ask you.

thank you, bro.

well, how to show this 2D array digital data in the time domain, one corresponds to time, one corresponds to the amplitude? the idea is to show the output waveform after A/D converter and compare with the original analog waveform. please help me, thank you.

Hi,

Please clarify your objective--do you mean that you want to plot the difference between the waveform before and after the A/D converter and have time and amplitude as the X and Y axes respectively in your chart?
