How to filter an irregular waveform?

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi AllTheCLAs,

Your suggestion works fine for my code, but the peak VI has a problem with it where it shows my peak value 12.1873 instead of the actual value of 12.1875 and location of 488.977 instead of 489.

However, i have replaced the VI with "search 1D array" and "Array Max&Min".error.PNG

And I've gotten what i want!!!

Thanks with appreciation.

Regards,

Oliver

Hi Henrik_Volkers,

The reason behind is i need to make it a presentation to customers where the important part is the peak value. However, I've have done my code using filter and replace peak value.

Thanks with appreciation.

Regards,

Oliver

At that slow samplerate and only one value representing the peak ... mmm ....

You havn't told us about you  measurement system, however as a customer I would be suspicious 😄

I would sample a 4ms pulse with at least 10kSPS better 100kSPS (I use 1-10MSPS, but another story 😉 )

Hi Henrik,

The result I'm obtaining is not through time base lol...

It gets the power value versus change of voltage..
