How to get the interface names of cameras connected to the computer

I searched the Labview help and it seems that there is a VI named as ""IMAQ1394 Get Interface Files" which can do that.

However, I cannot find it on the function palette, even by seaching by the name?

I am using Labview 7.1.

Could somebody tell me how to find the right VI?

Hi Mehmetg,
The "IMAQ 1394 Get Interface Files" VI is installed with the 1394 driver.  This driver comes with the 1394 interface board or can be purchased seperately.  Look at the link below for purchasing information if you do not already have it.

If you already have the 1394 driver installed then you will need to go back through the installation process and choose to install the "support for LabVIEW."  This will install the 1394 API which will be located in the Functions>>NI Measrements>>Vision>>NI IMAQ For 1394 Cameras pallette.
