How to indicate whether there is 12V at a specific pin?

I am using the cDAQ-9172 with various digital/analog I/Os to run several tests on production boards at my company. I simply want to apply 12V to a specific pin on the board and then check to see if there is 12V at various other pins. I know how to supply the 12V and I have a module that is providing a path to ground and should check voltage at the various pins but how do you indicate on the front panel that there is actually 12V being supplied and how do you have a message come up on the front panel saying "Checking 12V at pins1,2,3" and then an indicator saying it passed so it can move on to the next test....hopefully this is somewhat clear.

In terms of indicating that the 12v is you could use an LED indicator - or a digital readout showing the actual value that is being applied - I prefer the former approach because when designing interfaces remember that less is more...

For a pop up message you canuse a dialog box.

If you don't know how to do these things, start going through the introductory materials that ship with LV. Also study the examples that ship with LV as you will probibly find examples demonstrating most of what you need to do. Finally, consider getting some training.
