How to input data from Excel in a Labview table?

CC:

For some reason that I couldn't find the Vi that you sent me does not do what is supposed to do. That is, if I try to copy and paste something in or from the table it only takes the very first cell...
(unzipped al the folders and extracted the files in the same folder).
Maybe I'm missing something?

Did you select first the range of cells you want to copy by clicking on the first cell and shifting to the last cell ?

Yes, I did; but let me try that again. Maybe i forgot to extract something or I shouldn't have extracted the llb files as I did. Once I'll give it one more try I'll let you know.

Well, I believe I've tried everything (I know) but it is still not working...

Maybe something else should be in the code?

Hello CC - thank you for this post of Copy Paste .zip. I am a new user (using V8.0 with Vista) and I'm trying to copy from Excel and paste to a Table. This VI looks like what I need, but I get the following when I run it:

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW:  Specified property not found.

Property Name: Value (Signaling)

I open Excel and then copy some data and then select Paste in the VI menu and get the above. Thanks for your help.

I found the error that you were having trouble with as i had the same problem.  the author just misclicked Val(Signalling) and if you right click on the property node where it says that and just select Value it will work.
