How to install OpenG libraries?

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

long time ago i installed the openG libraries. Now i need to reinstall a pc and have some problems.

Labview is 2014

vpm is running and database updated

In Google i found a vpm-link at

http://www.ni.com/gate/gb/GB_EVALTLKTOPENG/US

In here is a download-link that opens the VI Package manager. In the vpm appears a "We have moved logo" and "Labview Tools Network".

Then i click there on download which opens the InternetExplorer at:
http://www.ni.com/labview-tools-network/d/

On this website is again a search-bar where i insert "OpenG" but the results brings me back to the first link...

How can download OpenG?

Thanks for help

One quick thing you can do is search in vipm itself for OpenG and install.
-Or download file in this link and open with VIPM to install: http://forums.jki.net/topic/567-how-to-install-openg-vis-manually/

Edit: the sourceforge link is here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/opengtoolkit/?source=navbar

Thanks

Ok, searching in VIPM worked.

I compared the installed openg-parts on the old pc and manually selected them on the new pc in vipm.

It's 2025, 11 years later and I too am running around in the same circle.  You follow the links provided by LabVIEW and you and eventually you just get back to the first link.....

Can anyone provide the actual "click this link to download" link?

Use VIPM and search for OpenG:

It looks like you can also install the open G libraries through the NI package manager.

I tired the package manager and it did something, but what that something is I haven't figured out.  It appeared to install version 3 when the most recent version is 6.  I tried linking whatever it is that installed to the tools palette but couldn't find any means to do so.  The package manager knows that version 3 is installed, but LabVIEW doesn't. I did find a library of routines that can be used to work with gifs which is my immediate project.  I will post the library later.

I uploaded a library of gif tools I found.  These work.
