How to list devices available

Hello all,

I am new on the NI forum and I recently followed Labview training (Basic 1 & 2).
I would like to know how to get the list of available devices and the type of them.
Ideally I would like to have an array of that form :

Device Name

DAQmx System Property Node can list all devices installed on your system.
DAQmx Device Property Node can query the information about a device.

try to use them.

Hello,

Look at the JPEG attached, you have to use the same property node.

Have a nice day.

And if you look for VISA Devices (RS232,GPIB,...) use the
'VISA Find Resource' located in VISA Advanced ..

try the attached vi out.  it uses the 'DAQmxSystem' and DAQmxDevice' property nodes to get the current devices on the pc.
