How to open sub vi fron panel as pop up from main application

Hi All
I have a main program in which i am calling a sub Vi. I want to see the front panel of this Sub Vi during the time this sub Vi  is running. Is it possible. Thanks.

vi properties->window appearance->Show front panel when called.

also close when done (otherwise it will remain opened).
