How to place slider scale on the right

I want to display a slider that looks like the Z-scale of an intensity plot.  I tried using a vertical slider control, but the scale is always on the left side.  Is there a way to put the scale on the right side of a vertical slider?

Thanks,
Cherie

Hello Cherie.
You can "Customize Controls" in LabVIEW. Simply select the control and in the menu select "Edit>>Customize Control ...".
Another chance is to use your intensity chart (or whatever control matches your idea) and make all elements that you do not want to see invisible or transparent.
Hope this helps,
Guenter

Hi Guenter,

Thanks for your reply.  I did try to customize a slider control, but I was unable to figure out how to move the scale to the right side.  I may have to resort to using the intensity graph as you suggested.

Thanks,

Cherie

Hi Cherie,

Once you open the Control Editor, you have to click the "Wrench" button in the toolbar to put the control in edit mode.  From there, all I did was click and drag one of the numbers of the scale to move the entire scale to the right.  I've attached a custom control file that I saved in 7.0 demonstrating that it's possible.

Hope this helps,

Hi Darren,

Thanks, that did help.  I had to move the tick marks to the right side and change the text justification to left, and then it worked well enough.  The tick marks still look a little funny to me because the major tick marks stick out to the left instead of the right, but now I am just being picky.

Thanks,

Cherie
