What Jim did not show was that he changed the "DISPLAY FORMAT" of Numeric to "Relative Time" to get the indicator to show HH:MM:SS

  1. Thanks, Jeff.  I meant to mention that but forgot.
  2. I also went into the advanced display mode editor to remove the hours from the display.

To prevent that, go to your My Settings page,  Preferences, then Display.  Change the emoticon type to None.  (It is probably default, Smiley right now).

 

There are a few colon-letter combinations that automatically get converted to a smiley in messages when you don't want them to ( 😛 😄 :S).  This prevents that from happening.

Hi Exp,

 

why do you put Express in quotes? Do you want to express sarcasm or do you talk of ExpressVIs? What's wrong in using simple plain functions?
