How to run LabVIEW custom developed standalone application in tablets?

Hi,

I have developed a standalone application for data logging and polar plot display also 2D-XY graph. The application is working fine in a desktop PC. Now, I want move that application to tablet (windows or android based tablet). Is it possible to run it in Tablet, if so, how and what are the requirements. I have surfed in NET and found that dashboard is available yet; my requirement is more specific to run the program in tablet that I had developed using LabVIEW and it has an interface with external drive using Microcontroller (reads input from external device). Kindly post your suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

I have written programs to run on the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and it ran pretty well. It was the i5 version. If you have a labor intensive program it would be best to only use i7 versions as none of my programs took up too many resources. The new Surface Pro 4 should be even better as they are really improving things in that arena to compete with Apple.

To tell you what hardware you really need we would have to see the program you're going to run.

As far as interfacing to your device you don't really give enough information do be too helpful.

Glad to answer questions. Thanks for any KUDOS or marked solutions 😉
