How to set the initailize value of shared varible

Everytime server reboot, some shared varible's quality will become 'unknow' and no value for display after deploy. After write to these shared varibles once, the quality will change back to good and display the value.

Is it possible to set the initail value for it and let it be ready for use as default.

Otherwise I would look a the "Shared Network Variable error codes".  http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361B-01/lverror/shared_variable_error_codes/

I think there is one that would cover a variable with no value.  You could check the error  when you read a shared variable to make sure that data is valid.
