How to use Third Party Licensing and Activation Toolkit ?

Hello Application Engineers,

I would like to add an activation code or an installation key to my installer for deployment. I found a link to the Third Party Licensing and Activation Toolkit,  addressing the issue, Third-Party Licensing and Activation Toolkit Download - NI

I followed the instruction, Installed JKI VI Package Manager (VIPM) before installing the Third Party Licensing and Activation Toolkit. However, I could not find where to start the Third Party Licensing and Activation Toolkit, and could not figure out how to use it.

I also found another page

LabVIEW 2014 Third Party Licensing & Activation Toolkit Readme - National Instruments (ni.com)

it says that an example can be found

Select Help»Find Examples from LabVIEW to launch the NI Example Finder. LabVIEW examples for the Third Party Licensing & Activation Toolkit are located in the labview\examples\addonlicensing directory. You can modify an example VI to fit an application, or you can copy and paste from one or more examples into a VI that you create.

However, I do not see the addonlicensing directory at all.

Could someone provide me an example VI in 2015 version so I can copy and paste/edit into my VI ?

Thanks',

Gu

I had the same problem and found the solution there : https://www.vipm.io/package/ni_lib_tplat/

Now Third Party Licensing & Activation by NI is distributed on VIPM.

The thing is documentation is not update and can be misleading.

I think NI or JKI need to update there documentation on it. There is a lot of information spread out all over the place and it's not an ease ...
