How to write to a Spansion S29PL127J Simultaneous-Read/Write Flash Memory?

I need to write and read to a Spansion  S29PL127J Simultaneous-Read/Write

Flash Memory chip. Any pointers?

Whats the interface?  USB? RS-232?  I don't very many people have used this exact chip so you'll need to provide a bit more information for us to be able to offer much help.

Currently they are using Corelis HW/SW to write to it

And green hills to read it

It appears something is wrong when we reed it back

The chip is configured as 2 16 bit chips in parallel.

They are thinking to switch to Ni hardware and LabVIEW software. I'm trying to help and dont want to reinvent the wheel so Im looking for a starting point to get started at.

That's still not really enough information to help.  How does your Corelis HW connect to your computer?  Is it serial, USB?  I'm not really sure what Corelis or Green Hills is or the interface to your chip.  With some more detailed information, there might be a solution, but as of now it's hard to tell.
