The operators looked at me and said "I thought you were on vacation today."

Does not sound too bad. Imagine you would have gone on vacation without wallet! 😄

Got a quick question...is there any way I can adjust my view of threads on here to show the replies in order?

You must be signed in, then under Thread options, select sort oldest to newest.
BTW- there is no order to this thread, it appears to be rambling chaos

Thanks, with the clouds the past couple nights, no action on the scope. Did you pick up a T shirt at the Tech Symposium? You guys really cleaned up on the prizes

Ahh!  I thought I was still "signed in" when I would return to this thread.  Apparently I wasn't!  Thanks!

And hey, what's wrong with a little entropy here and there?

AK2DM:  Yes I won a nice T-shirt at the symposium, suitable for changing the oil in my car and painting the house.  Our guys did mop up in prizes.  I think 4 out of 7 people sitting at our table won prizes.  I guess we are experts at raffle box stuffing.

Which tech symposium? I went to NIDay in Rochester, NY yesterday and there were no T-shirts there (there were door prizes, didn't win any of those either!) So where in Europe or South Africa, can you live in palm shaded, apparent coastal areas with skiing relatively near?

Kilamanjaro has skiing, I believe.

LV Pro:

The tech symposium was in Phoenix, AZ on Nov. 1st. A lot of LV 8 features shown, RT, DAQ HW, SW demos, etc. I suppose it is the one making the rounds around the US. But they do have one every November here in Phoenix. Some local vendors/distributors were there too to show their wares. At the end they gave away T-Shirts, IPods, discounts to NI Week, some NI SW, and an XBox.

Well they gave away an Xbox (not 360) and the vendors gave away some stuff (iPod shuffle, LabVIEW Basics II class (woowee!), some other things) but no discounts to NIWeek, and I didn't get to add to my T-shirt collection.
There may have been those that skiid Killimanjaro, but I recall reading/seeing the trekers climbing to the top, and that the snow cap has been melting more and more each year. And unless you flew it wouldn't be very close to S.A. (LA to the Rockies would be closer). Finally saw the picture posted by tst to add to the questions (the one with the attractive couple).
