Howto compare signatures of FPGA bitstream file with bitstream on flash?

Due to the secure nature of where my LabVIEW FPGA code will be deployed, our customer has asked for the ability to verify the signature of a trusted bitfile with that of the signature of the bitfile downloaded onto flash. I'd like this to work for R-series, CompactRIO and MXIExpressRIO boards.

Is there an API that allows me to do this?
