hello,
I am tring to communicate my Powersupply which is not from Ni via USB cable ,but I am not able to see my connection or usb symbole in Ni-max .
first time I am using this will you please guide me,and is there any driver i need to download for that?here I put one attachment regarding to this.

MAX isn't going to show you the USB ports. The OS does that. MAX will only show you recognized devices. If the OS doesn't have a driver for the USB device, then you won't see it in MAX.

Actully I didnt get any solution by using RS 232 cable so I am trying with USB .
I am able to see my device in control panal but as i cant See it in NI-max,there is no any symbol for usb in devices and interface.

If the device is NOT from NI, you will most of the times not se it in MAX.
That doesn't mean you can't use it in LabVIEW, MAX just only shows NI products.

ok but I dont know how to use because when I was dealing with RS 232 then I was able to see the com port but now with USB i dont know what to do becase we dont have to do serial configuration in this.so what kind of setting required for that?in attachment you can see the screen shot in that i am not able to see the usb connection.

ya I know that,
thats y i asked you that y it is so because i am not able to see that usb port here i can see that much only.
thats y i got confused.
and I can see my hameg connection in my control panel and also in device manager.

this is website for hameg driver in that product select hmp4040 than hmp4000 list will open in that i have download third one in which plug and play is given.
or here i send my vi it might be helpful.

How hard can it be to download the LabVIEW driver ??????
