I get an error when builing an RT application.

When building my RT application I get a message saying:

The build was unsuccessful.

Possible reasons:

An error occurred while building the following file:

\Engine Control\RT\ECU_C13Main_RT.vi

Details:

Error 1003 occurred at ABAPI Dist Chg and Save VIs.vi -> ABAPI Dist Build LLB Image.vi -> ABAPI Copy Files and Apply Settings.vi -> RTBEP_Invoke_Build_Engine.vi -> RTBUIP_Build_Invoke.vi -> RTBUIP_Build_Invoke.vi.ProxyCaller

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW:  The VI is not executable.

I would recommend taking a close look at your VI named "ECU_C13Main_RT.vi".  If the builder is saying it is not executable, perhaps there are some errors remaining in it.

Hi mgerty,

To follow up on Ravens Fan's comments, this sometimes occurs when a VI becomes corrupted. This corruption doesn't always cause the VI itself to throw an error when running in the development environment, but 9 times out of 10 copying/rewriting the VI from scratch will eliminate this problem.
