I have a LAbview 8.6, and i can´t open a file from a Labview 5.1.1

How you do it depends on the protocol that the manufacturer implemented, and whether or not they provided a DLL. If they provided a DLL then you need to use the Call Library Function to talk to the instrument. You should start here: USB Instrument Control Tutorial.

                 Hello!

                 Here we go again.

I am with the same problem one more time.

If anybody could please save these VI in a more recent LabVIEW version I would be very grateful.

                 Thank you.

                 Carlos.

Hi kivanc,

it would be ok to attach only the single vi, that you can't open (main_serialport.vi). All others already were converted to LV8.6...

But all share one problem: missing subvis from a different library.
