I have LabView 2020. On my block diagram I was interfacing LabView and Arduino using (makerhub linx VI), everything was working fine, no broken VI. I uninstalled NI MAX because it was not working properly. When it was uninstalled, somehow LabView also was uninstalled.
I reinstalled LabView and all of a sudden, my VI are broken. I get a message saying I have broken VI.
So I decided to go to VI package manager and tried to download Makerhub linx, but NI only lets me download the latest version of Makerhub linx (2021). So I went ahead and downloaded it anyway. But it still didn't fix the problem with my broken VI.
I tried calling NI. The guy tried to help me, but couldn't figure out how to fix this problem.
So in a nutshell, Makerhub linx for arduino is only working with LabView 2021 or latest version of LabView, but not 2020. I just want it to work with LabView 2020
I want to use the 2020 version because that's what the company I work for has.
Does someone know the trick on how to fix this? Please please help me!!!! I also attached block diagram.
This is what I used to have before uninstalling LabView 2020

Did you actually install LINX? It's not installed by default.
Did you install LabVIEW 64 bit version? LINX isn't supported on 64 bit.

Yes, I did. It only opens with LabView 2021, but not 2020. I have LabView 2020 32 bit

Installing LINX is so confusing. Did you install it through VIPM or NIPM? (To make things even MORE confusing.)

I tried both. same problem.

Hmmm, if you have more than one LabVIEW version on your computer, you have to tell VIPM to install LINX (or any of the other software packages) to install for each version of LabVIEW that you want it installed to. Did you do that?
