I'm having trouble updating the firmware of the NI9862 on the cRIO 9024/9025.

This equipment has been unused for a long time, and now I'm trying to bring it back into operation. I have two versions of LabVIEW available: 2015 and 2019. I can use the cRIO normally with other module models, but not with the 9862 — it's the only one I've had issues with so far.

Note: The 9862 was previously used with the cRIO 9024/9025, so the problem is software-related.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled LabVIEW several times on both versions, but it still doesn't work.

According to https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/compatibility/21/ni-hardware-and-operating-system-compat... do you need at least CompactRIO 15.5 to support the 9862.

However the 9024 is only supported from CompactRIO 15.0 to 19.6. And it also only can work for LabVIEW 2009 to 2019 SP1.

The problem is possibly that none of these versions is officially supported on Windows 11. This is not really a problem for LabVIEW, I have installed LabVIEW 2009 on Windows 11 without any major problems, but CompactRIO is another story. This goes much deeper into the system and may run into trouble.

What Windows are you using? What CompactRIO version?
