I really really wish NI would make their Webinars and multimedia tutorials available for watching offline

NI provide some really good Webinars and multimedia tutorials, I have been looking at their new Application Management Best Practices in LabView
but I do not always have time to watch them at work and I am lucky if I can get near my own home PC at times, what with my wife playing cards and my daughter playing SIMS

I do however often spent time travelling on trains and would it would be great if these tutorials could be downloaded so I could watch them either on my laptop at a time convient to me or better still on my Creative player. Some of them would be well as just downloaded audio.

Is there any particular reasons that download and offlinne watching is not supported ? I do find this very frustrating and I am sure other do as well

NI created a podcast section on their web site, but doesn't appear to be adding new content.

It certainly would be nice to download the webinar content you referenced onto an iPod touch.

I have often wondered why NI's podcasts dried up.  I still have it subscribed in iTunes, but nothing new for well over a year.

I would subscribe to a video podcast that is the webinar content.  I could then at least listen on my commute and watch again over lunch if it sounds like it needs video.  I already do this with some other things: geekbrief, makezine, etc.  Granted, they are not really in depth project-based video podcasts, but I don't see why it wouldn't work with something that is.

NI remember, the more eyes on it, the better advertising it is and when people get better/more training, they are ususally more successful.  Other than time/bandwidth, I don't see a reason to not make them available offline.

Thanks,
Bob Young

Imagine all those LabVIEW users travelling to NIWeek. Smiley Wink

A collection of 15 to 20 minute subjects could help pass the time and might even make for a more engaged audience...
