Did you mean:

I search a device which transforms a Signal from RS232 or USB to LIN

Hello together.

This is my first post.

I search a device which transforms a Signal from RS232 or USB to LIN.

I use LabView 1.7

I want to control a Stepper motor with this Amis controller.

Maybe anybody knows a beneficial transformer, which must not too expensive.

Thanks for every answer

may I ask- what is LIN?

Look here as a starting point:

Google "RS-232" + "LIN"

OR

 "USB" + "LIN"

Has somebody experiences with such a devise.

Is it possible to simulate such a “transformer” with a LabView application?

Are you looking for hardware to connect to a LIN and control it through LabVIEW software or looking to simulate the data protocol from RS-232 or USB to LIN?

Software simulation won't work by itself because the physical layer (the communication signal voltage levels are unique) and you would need hardware to generate the proper timing and voltage levels.

Suggest you search the forums for LIN, some people have attempted bits and pieces here and there using LabVIEW.

Principle it is not important; whether with a device or with a Protocol.

Do somebody knows a good LIN-Forum?
