I want to synchronize my motion position with data acquisition

I have PCI-7344 and PCI-6023E and I want to synchronize them so that my DAQ card will start and stop the acquisition definitely when the motion start and stop. Also I want to acquire velocity and the data from DAQ card in the same scan rate. Thank you.

You will synchronize your PCI-7344 and PCI-6023E through the RTSI bus which is available on each board. The manuals for the PCI-7344 and PCI-6023E give more specific information regarding which signals need to be routed through this bus. There is also a tutorial available which discusses synchronizing motion and data acquisition which I have attached below:

You need to have the PFI0 and PFI1 of the 6024E to sense a transistion for a Start and a Stop. I have been succesful doing this on a 6602 Timer -6024E DAQ card at least in going from one direction (CW). The 6602 can have an encoder input in which you can code a velocity measurement VI or this may also be present on 7344 card? I have attached my debug version that has worked on my optical bench for your reference.
