WAY too broad a problem for us to give any advice other than general:
-Have you already visited the manufacturer's site?
-They probably have a toll-free 800 number, tried calling?
-What error do you get? What code, description and probable causes? A communication error is not the same as a data rate one.
-Manufacturer probably provides a ready-made software for communication, tried that?
