If I understand your question correctly, you would like to know if the
USB-8451 is a good choice for your particular chip( AD7746). As long as your chips allowing for different addressing, for you 10 different addresses, the 8451 can be connected to all the chips at once, an address each one individually through their particular address.This should allow you to not need the multiplexers to distribute communication to your various chips. As of right now the USB-8451 is the only I^2C device that National Instruments sells. Thanks again and have a great day!
