I have downloaded IVI drivers from the NI support page for a TDS3034, E3631A, 34401A and without issue have setup and performed as expected using SignalExpress 2013. I have downloaded and installed a 53131A counter IVI driver from NI support and it does not appear in the NIMAX v5.5 setup under the IVI subfolders as with all the previously mentioned drivers.
If I rerun the installer it believes the installation is in place and will not attempt to reinstall. If I then uninstall the IVI driver it believes is installed, all seems well and I then tried a reboot and reinstall of the IVI driver for the 53131A counter. Start NIMAX and the counter drivers do not appear to be installed under the IVI drivers folder set. The counter appears as a GPIB instrument and a quick query over VISA interface shows solid communication with the counter.
Why is the IVI driver not appearing in NIMAX?

What version of the IVI compliance package is installed? Download from
http://www.ni.com/download/ivi-compliance-package-4.6/4027/en/
The driver page says ICP 4.5 but, it appears to work with ICP 4.4 (Go figure)

Labview is not the issue. NIMAXv5.5 not recoginizing the installation of the IVI driver package for the Agilent 53131A counter is the issue. The Labview forum seemed appropriate.
