Image Function

I have a beta version of a driver for a USB camera from Sentech. I believe they are working directly with NI for the driver. The driver has a function in it called "Image" which displays the image taken from the camera. My labview does not recognize this function and I have not been able to find any specific reference to it. I was wondering if this is a function in the NI Vision package (which I don't have)...? When I delete the function and modify the vi to save th eimage instead it works.

which vi do you mean? If you mean this (see attachment), then you are right, it´s in the IMAQ palette, but how could you make the image?

I have the free IMAQ download, I just haven't purchased the Vision package yet.

this is the indicator which shows the image in the FrontPanel. It should be available.

This function is in fact part of the Vision Development Module.  You can find the functions that are installed with just the IMAQ driver by looking at this knowledgebase.  Which Vis are Installed with NI-IMAQ?
