Import Image & Sound files

How can we acquire Images and Sound files into LabVIEW to work with ?

Have you tried looking in the Graphics & Sound palette? I'd start there.

And if you need something fancier then you'll want to look into the IMAQ functions.

But only Image attributes will be indicated when we use the functions under 'Programming' pallete... How can i import image and use it further for comparison and program ??
And this IMAQ is a separate tool r8 ? Can't we do it without it ??
