Seriously :

Each of them MUST have a benefit, otherwise I don't
see the point to that many forks from Ada. Lips would
be enough.
The problem in Labview is not just the language 'barrier',
it's also it's 90s IDE that haven't evolved in decades.
It's a pain. Really. And you can program only with it.
No alternative. In the whole Labview ecosystem, even
if the language have some good points, it's still a major
drawback.
To me. Embedded coder. That know how to code.
Not just assemble blocks like legos.

And THAT is why your so unwilling to learn. You state "blocks like legos" only because you do not understand how LabView works. Like ROLTF said, if you would just change your design instead of making things so huge and unmaintainable/upgradable, you are painting yourself into a corner.
You know something "that works" instead of using LabView to do it or using a combination of languages to meet your end goal.
I use Excel/Access/Word VBA with LabView to do other tasks all the time. Others here may use VB.NET or C#.NET, JAVA, FORTRAN, etc along with LabView to meet their end users requirements.
Anyway, do what you want. Rant over.
