In Labview 6, the width of the plot area is variable and depends on the number of digits of the Y scale. How can I disable this annoying automatic feature?

I wonder, how do you plan to see your numbers?
Just change a style of scale numbers formatting - without numbers at all. :0)
Then put numeric scale (slide for example) above the Graph scale with a transparent background. How do you like it now?

Read the article in developer's zone at the included link. It talks about this "feature" and how to work around it:

Very useful. Thanks. Here follows what I did based on your answer and the article.

Labview.ini was not present on my machine. I had to create it and write the following lines:

[LabVIEW]
EnableAutoScales=False

Then, I saved it next to Labview.exe

For the executable, I created "myprog.ini" where "myprog" is the name of the executable. The file contained:

[myprog]
EnableAutoScales=False

I saved it next to the executable.
It worked all fine.

For more information on labview ini file content goto:

Thanks again, you cleared my problem.
