In my call library function my function prototype has "strange" characters

When I try to look at my call library function everything is set up ok but the function prototype has awkward characters in it. The charaters are not part of my functions and dont exist aywhere in my c code. Yet somehow I get a "@@YAHPAD000@Z" stuck between the function name and the parameters. Where can they be coming from???

it answers my question, I needed the to use extern C.

At least now my prototypes look normal.
