In transferring from 5 to 7.1, it can't find edrapi.dll and gives errors.

When transferring from LabVIEW5 to 7.1 The new version can't find edrapi.dll and causes errors. Application runs smoothly on LabView 5.

It prompts me to brows for the edrapi.dll library which i can not locate, and when i track the problem it fundementally points to the failed library loading. What is edrapi.dll and how can i get rid of this error? It runs smoothly on Labview 5.

Cheers

hi there

after googleing for edrapi.dll it seems to me that this dll is part of a driver for a third-party IO - PCI-Card. Maybe the driver was installed in the user.lib or vi.lib of your LV 5. Have you searched for that dll on your system? what VI is looking for that dll? i'd try to reinstall the driver.

Best regards
chris
