This is a silly question really, but I would like to increase the size of dialog checkbox (Boolean). Despite various attempts, I have not been able to do so. Can this be done at all? (I've noticed that it is possible to programmatically change the button size through property node, but I'd prefer to change them "manually"!) Please help!
1. Place a dialog checkbox on the front panel 2. Right-click on the checkbox 3. Goto "Advanced" 4. Select "Customize.." 5. Click the "Edit/ Customize Mode" button (TOOL button left on the toolbar) 6. Edit the dialog checkbox (it is now ungrouped and outlined) 7. You will be prompted whether or not to save/ replace the original control
I've been trying this solution. And it doesn't seem to work.
When I change the size everything looks fine. Next I can copy paste it into my actual vi, no problem.
But if I close the .ctl file, the checkbox is resized back to it's former small self.
I've tried saving the .ctl and than inserting the saved .ctl, but same problem, it keeps resizing back to it's original shape, even though the accompanying tet does not.
Does not work in LV7.1 either (however, in newer versions it is easier to use the "Set h and w" from the resize toolbutton). Changing the size via the property node does not work either. Quite irritating.
In LV 7.1.1, I have tried using the resize tool and it does not work. I can change the h & W numbers but when I click the apply button, nothing happens. I have two checkboxes and I cannot highlite any of them in the list on the resize window. This needs to be fixed.
