Hey, I am new to lab-view. I wanted to generated a signal from lab-view. I attached a png file for my requirements. How should or What tools are used for the my requirements?

Pulse Width: 5ms

Period: 10ms

No of pulses: 6000 (60seconds)

Hi NitalPatel,

To clarify, what do you need to do with this signal? You can simulate a signal through LabVIEW to analyze in software, but you need hardware to actually generate a signal.

The VI you have chosen is a fine express VI for the application you are after, if you are just wanting to generate a square pulse.

I am generating the signal and I will buy the hardware also for that but I am not sure weather I am right or not. I wanted to generated a square wave . How we can do programming in the labview VI .

Hi Nital,

It sounds like you are just getting started with LabVIEW, so I recommend you look at the following 2 guides. The first is a PDF illustrating all the functionality of LabVIEW. The second is the LabVIEW example finder, in the fundamentals folder you should be able to find well written LabVIEW examples that show various applications and architectures. Lastly, I've included a link to a white paper that demonstrates signal generation.
